Quick Write: What does imagination mean to you? How important is it? What about memory? Can you have one without the other?

Imagination to me is a way to free yourself. Your able to go to various places that only you can go. Your also able to be whoever and whatever you want. It is a way to express your creativity like you never have before. A memory is something precious that you keep forever. You need to have it with you whether its good or bad. It is possible to have an imagination with out memory and vice versa. People with alzheimer's disease cannot remember a thing but their imagination runs wild. Memories are things you encounter everyday, its the experience.

I live for me and only me. I'm the only one who can live my life. Why live for someone else if they're not willing to die for me????? I'm my own motivation. To me I'm the only thing worth living for. Would a place, thing or another person care about my existence? I THINK NOT!

In today's video ...

My observations were:
1) His family was very supportive.
2) He was still the same person.
3) He's trying to help others with the same problem.

Questions I have:
1) What did they first think when this tragedy occurred?
2) Does he ever have thoughts of death?

My emotions:
1) this is very sad and its amazing how he still makes the best of life.

What inspired Jean-Dominique Bauby to write a memoir?
Is Jean-Dominique Bauby still the editor of Elle Magazine?

In my quick write I said that I'm the only person work living for and many fail to agree with me. Some people actually live for others because they keep they're feeling in mind which is a very nice thing to do. I guess others are way more compassionate then me. If I had to pick something or someone worth living for it would be my sister and my brother. Other than that I still think I'm the only thing worth living for to myself.

In the book "The Outsiders" my favorite character was PonyBoy and yes he did have a fixed mindset. Ponyboy theorizes on the motivations and personalities of his friends and describes events in a slangy, youthful voice. Though only fourteen years old, he understands the way his social group functions and the role each group member plays. He was as too involved in the streets to ever change his mind. He was the same in the book from beginning to the end.

How is the human mind different from the animal mind?

Very, humans are way more advanced than animals. An animal will only learn to an extent

"You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it." is a quote written by Margaret Thatcher. To me this quote says that you will not always conquer the first time so you have to keep trying in order to win. The Outsiders is a book i read a few back and this quote ties perfectly into everything the book was about. These young men were actually in a gang related war with another group of boys. Even though they felt like giving up the fight and accepting failure they didn't. They became victorious at the end and i bet victory was sweet.
